Baseball, Ice Cream and the Grateful Dead

Sally, Avery and Jackson - I loved being around Jody. I loved watching him coach baseball. I loved the time we got Mexican food and ice cream on Southport. I loved talking about Grateful Dead concerts with him. We would laugh about listening to old tapes and trying to guess what Jerry and Bobby were thinking as they transitioned from 'China Cat Sunflower' to 'I Know You Rider'. He's a headlight on a northbound train now, but his spirit lingers in my heart. I know it lingers in yours too. - Eboo
