When I think of Jody, one of the first things that ALWAYS pops into mind is how much he and Dave loved to cook together. Which is kinda funny because it seems more of a Dave memory than mine. But I remember early days when Jody and Dave would get together in the kitchen and I would try to help and I very quickly realized that I was a total third wheel. This was their space together and it was a much better thing to sit back and just watch the magic. They loved cooking together anytime, especially when on vacation in FL, even when sometimes I would want to go out to dinnner, those boys just wanted to bro-down in the kitchen. And then they started cooking together for our holiday meals, especially the Tagliarino Spaghetti and Mestballs for Christmas. This was a full day event where they just hung together in the kitchen, they taught Tag how to delicately roll meatballs, played music, laughed, all the things. It was truly special to watch and I’ll forever miss those laughs coming from two besties wearing aprons and towels flung over their shoulders. I know our Christmas kitchen feels a lot quieter now, but his memory lives on with Dave, Tag, and one day Scotty. With me still watching from the sidelines. :).

These were some of the best days! Glad I was on the sidelines with you watching the (delicious) magic happen
