I was lucky enough to work next to Jody for five years, and to remain friends with him long after that. I was always in awe of how effortlessly he could make people feel at ease (and eventually have them laughing), in any situation. We bonded immediately over music and a shared sense of humor, and as time went on he was a constant example of how to be a great dad and partner, and how to live life to the fullest. I'm so grateful for those things, and I'll carry them with me. That, and an endless list of inside jokes, shared favorite songs in our painstakingly crafted Spotify playlists, memories of Game of Thrones watch parties, baseball games... the list goes on and on, as I know it does for so many dear friends, and of course his beautiful family most of all.
At the end of a long work week, more often than not our little group of co-workers would still talk each other into hanging out a little more at the Emerald Loop in the Jewler's Buidling. It was somehow never enough time together.
It still isn't.
Love you, Jodes.
Nailed it! So great! So Jody! So sorry!
