I have many great memories of Jody but perhaps one of my favorites is our trip to the Dominican Republic. With five children in tow, Jody, Sally, Todd and I lounged by the pool, chased flamingos, played shuffleboard on the beach and drank lots of tropical drinks! Thankfully, Jody eagerly made our nightly dinner reservations and quickly moved beyond the all-inclusive wine list. Our starfish "booze cruise" day trip not only provided the chance to find ginormous starfish from the bottom of the ocean but drink lots of rum-infused drinks. Our time on the boat with our families was priceless and a memory that I will always carry with me! There are so many reasons that I miss Jody and cherish our friendship--his love of good food, wine, music and spreadsheets but mostly, his ability to live in the present and love life.
That was such a special trip, especially that day on the boat. So many laughs and splashes. We all enjoy precious time with the Segall family. I'm so glad we had that memorable time together ❤️
